Washington D.C: Nation’s Capital

When I think about DC, I think about freedom and history. This post id dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Before Martin Luther King Jr., it meant people had rights, but some people had more rights than others because of the color of their skin. Life was unfair to many. That all changed one day. We still need to work hard to make sure we continue to keep our laws fair for all. As Martin Luther King Jr. said, “let freedom ring.” These words of bravery will always ring in our communities and hearts for many reasons.
