I remember visiting the city of Pittsburgh back in 2012, my graduation was held there. I landed in Detroit and was told there were no more flights from Detroit to Pittsburgh, my graduation was the following day. I didn’t know what to do and my wife suggested we rent a car and make an effort to drive from Detroit to Pittsburgh. I was complaining that it was a long drive, she reminded it was worth a try. Long story short, I was dead tired when we arrived to Pittsburgh. I made it on time for my graduation and had lunch with my family in downtown Pittsburgh. It’s a place worth visiting.
Pittsburgh is a city in western Pennsylvania at the junction of 3 rivers. Its Gilded Age sites, including the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the Carnegie Museum of Art and the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, speak to its history as an early-20th-century industrial capital. In the North Shore neighborhood are the modern Andy Warhol Museum, Heinz Field football stadium and PNC Park baseball stadium.
